Adventures & Activities
Forge, Fight, and Conquer.
At Camp Onidah, adventure isn’t just fun—it’s formative.
Every activity is designed to stretch skills, spark brotherhood, and build lasting confidence.
Key Experiences:
Swordsmanship: Learn the art of safe, mock combat using foam swords. Progress through drills, earn warrior ranks, and compete in epic War Games.
War Games: Team strategy meets adrenaline. Engage in capture-the-flag missions, ambushes, and shield wall battles.
Blacksmithing: Forge your own gear—starting with iron nails and advancing to custom projects.
Outdoor Skills: Navigate terrain, build shelters, light fires, and train like a real scout.
Every Trailguide undergoes a background check, training in emergency procedures, and orientation in the Eternal Warriors model.

Eternal Warrior Training
Every young man faces battles—on and off the field.
Our Eternal Warrior lessons help campers develop self-mastery, spiritual stamina, and purpose-driven goals.
This part of camp draws from the Eternal Warriors program by Life Changing Services, an LDS faith-based organization that trains youth to fight spiritual battles using powerful tools of habit-building, identity, and divine connection. These lessons have helped thousands of young men overcome temptation, stay true to their values, and take purposeful action in their daily lives.
Daily Spiritual Formation:
Personal Study Time: 30 minutes each morning to reflect, study, and listen
Guided Devotionals: Trailguides facilitate open discussion on faith, resilience, and real-life application.
DPAR Model: Campers learn how to Discover, Plan, Act, and Reflect—a lifelong framework to translate spiritual insights into personal victories.
This is not passive scripture study. It’s warrior-level gospel living.

Brotherhood & Team Building
Strangers become battalion brothers.
We structure camp to build trust, teamwork, and real connection. From shared challenges to nightly reflections, boys leave with a deeper bond—not just as friends, but as future leaders.
How We Build Brotherhood:
Battalion Teams: Campers are grouped into teams led by Trailguides, forming instant camaraderie.
Nightly Huddles: Teams debrief their wins, struggles, and spiritual insights.
Service Challenges: Every team serves the camp and each other—cultivating humility and leadership.
War Games & Group Challenges: Team combat and obstacle scenarios build grit and trust.
It’s not just "the boys"—it’s your crew for life.
