What if you could step up to the forge and create something real
with your own hands
in just two hours?
Camp Onidah is bringing the blacksmithing fire home.
Weekly sessions open to ages 12+, men and women, no prior experience required.
Blacksmithing is more than craft
it’s self-mastery, patience, and strength.
These classes are designed to keep the Onidah spirit alive year-round,
one of courage, creativity, and brotherhood/sisterhood.

Join us every Saturday of September, 2025!

Who It’s For & What You’ll Do
Who can join? Anyone age 12+. Men, women, teens, and adults. Whether you’ve been to Camp Onidah or not, you’re welcome at the forge.
What will I make? Project 1 is a traditional blacksmith’s first piece—a nail. Project 2, a J-hook. Each week you’ll gain new skills and walk away with something tangible you forged yourself.
Do I need to bring tools? No. All tools, eye and ear protection, and materials are included. Just bring yourself and wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and cotton clothing.
How long is each session? Two hours. Enough time to learn, forge, and leave with something real in your hands.
