“Lehonti took all who would follow him and fled to Onidah, the place of arms.”
In the Book of Mormon, Onidah was a place of preparation. A sacred mountain stronghold where warriors gathered not just for battle—but for purpose.
We chose this name because Camp Onidah is built on the same principles:
Strength through unity
Courage through faith
Preparation through challenge
This is a modern-day "place of arms"
—where young men are trained to fight the right battles, on the right side, with Christ as their Captain.
WHY CAMP ONIDAH
Camp Onidah isn’t just an outdoor experience—it’s a five-day journey into self-mastery, servant leadership, and gospel-rooted growth.
With high-adventure activities like swordsmanship, blacksmithing, and battalion war games, young men build more than fires and shelters—they build character.
In a time when many programs for young men are vanishing,
Camp Onidah fills the gap with purpose, structure, and spiritual strength.
