Who can attend Camp Onidah? Camp Onidah welcomes any young man aged 14 to 19 by the first day of camp.
Do you offer programs for girls, Girls' Camp, or LDS wards? Currently, Camp Onidah is designed specifically for young men, focusing on self-mastery and personal growth through hands-on adventure and skill-building activities. That said, we are exploring options for Girls’ Camp and custom ward experiences. Email us if interested!
What makes Camp Onidah different? Unlike other camps, Camp Onidah combines real outdoor adventure with gospel-centered leadership. Campers forge steel and friendships—while learning eternal principles in every activity.
Where and when is camp? 📍 Liberty, Utah 📅 June 23–27, 2025 Check-in is Monday morning; pickup is Friday evening.

Packing & Prep
What should campers bring? A full packing list is provided after registration. Essentials include: Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad Scriptures, journal Outdoor clothing, hygiene gear Water bottle, headlamp Long pants and closed-toed shoes for smithing/swordplay
Is food provided? Absolutely! We serve three hearty meals a day, with enough for seconds. Campers rave about the food, and they’re welcome to bring their own snacks for between activities.
What about allergies or medical needs? We can accommodate medical/dietary needs. Please note them during registration.
What if a camper arrives late or leaves early? No refunds or prorated pricing for partial attendance. Late arrivals must check in with Bryton. Early departures require parent/guardian sign-out with two staff members and a completed form.

SAFETY & SUPERVISION
What adult supervision is provided? We follow a "double-deep" leadership model—no one-on-one contact between leaders and youth. Our adult-to-camper ratio is 1:4. All staff are background-checked and trained.
What if there is an emergency at Camp Onidah? Our staff is First Aid trained. We’re less than 30 minutes from a hospital and have emergency procedures in place.
Are phones allowed? No. We’re a device-free zone. Campers may bring a wristwatch. If a phone is brought, it will be collected and returned at the end of camp.
How can I contact my child if need be? Our camp leaders will always be available to parents. Contact information will be provided.
What items are prohibited? No projectiles (slingshots, BB guns, firearms), fixed blades, axes, or hatchets. A small pocket knife is okay.
Are there flushing toilets and showers? Yes, we have flush toilets and a makeshift shower. But be prepared—this is still camp.
What are the sleeping arrangements? Campers are assigned to tents. Boys 18+ sleep separately from younger campers and leaders sleep separately from campers. Bringing your own tent or hammock is welcome.
Can parents visit? No visitors during camp unless pre-arranged for volunteering. This supports the boys’ focus and independence.

REGISTRATION & POLICIES
How much does it cost? $565 covers all meals, materials, and 5 full days of adventure. We do have scholarships your son may qualify for, please see our registration page.
Are scholarships or discounts available? Yes! We offer three ways to reduce your camp costs: Bring a Buddy – Refer a friend using our promo code. Leadership Scholarship – Apply to receive a partial scholarship based on initiative and service. Bishop Endorsement – Ask your local bishop to endorse your application for support.
What’s the refund policy? Full Refunds: Available until two weeks before camp—requests must be submitted by 11:59 PM MT on June 9, 2025. Partial Refunds: 50% refunds can be requested up to 48 hours before camp—requests must be submitted by 11:59 PM MT on June 21, 2025. Within 48 Hours of Camp: No refunds can be issued. To request a refund, email camponidah@gmail.com with “Refund” in the subject line. Be sure to include the camper's name and the name of the person who paid. We process all refunds promptly.
Is Camp Onidah affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? Camp Onidah is not officially affiliated with the Church. However, our teachings and values are rooted in principles from the Book of Mormon, General Conference talks, and modern prophets. Our goal is to help young men apply gospel truths in real, practical ways to develop spiritual strength and self-mastery.
Do campers need to be members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? No—any young man ages 14 to 19 is welcome at Camp Onidah. We ask that all participants understand and respect that our spiritual training is based on LDS doctrine and scriptures. If a camper is open to that learning environment, they are more than welcome to join us.
